Remember the fire drills during our school days? We had several each year, and one of them was always during Fire Prevention Week, in October.

Actually my favorite browsing area is the Baking Needs aisle. The thought of all those cakes and pies and desserts waiting to happen gives me a sugar rush on the spot.

“In the spring, a young man’s fancy turns to love.”  I am not a man, certainly not young, and spring was a long time ago. But in September, my “fancy” turns to the classroom, with happy memories.
